spin54 Joined on 9/28/2006 Posts: 337		This won't have HDMI. Also, if it has been refurbed also doesn't mean the issue has been resolved. It just means you have to wait a few months before it does it again. The RROD is only entirely fixed in the later editions. The problem is the GPU and the cheap PCB bending under the heat so the ball solder looses contact. They don't fix it when it's refurbed. They might replace the main board or something, but it isn't fixed. This isn't a bad deal however. I have had a 360 for years now and had only one die on me and ms took care of it right away and it cost me nothing. Just don't register it and when it dies, tell them you haven't had it a year (which will probably be the case) and they will ship a box for you to ship yours back and they will ship you either a refurb or a new one (not upgraded to a better model however) all at no cost. If I wanted a 360 at a decent price, i'd go for this. I wouldn't be without my 360 now. If it breaks again, i'll buy a new one. It's a great machine.

spin54 Joined on 9/28/2006 Posts: 337		scratch the year long registration thing. it's a 30 day warranty. Still a good price. I'd still do it if I needed/wanted a 360 and had the cash. I'd buy this over a new wii any day. (personal preference of course, I just have TONS more fun with a 360).

adamt Joined on 1/14/2008 Posts: 2		refurbed or not, microsoft has a 3 year warentee on it's xboxes. just call the 800 listed on the box for details. they'll send you the box and pay the shipping if it screws up. it takes about 12 days from the time of the call to the time you get it back. GREAT deal!

If your Xbox 360 has been refurbished by another retailer or repair shop, then that shop would be the ones to check for warranty information unless otherwise specified. When purchasing a refurbished Xbox 360, make sure to check the warranty and make certain Microsoft will support the machine." I think we need Master Yug or someone from yugster to clarify this issue.

It makes a HUGE difference in my decision on whether or not to purchase this. I sent a message via customer service, but the question is whether or not I'll hear back before this deal is over.
