I've spent literally thousands on fancy remotes (Philips Pronto, Logitech Harmony 880, and a few others priced at $300 and more) and they all fell short. This one is not any better, of course, but at least it does as good a job and won't put you in the poor house. Note that this model was discontinued last year and is replaced by a new one with more buttons, more memory and an updated IR support list. The only thing that could be improved on it is the size of the memory. Don't expect to teach it more than a dozen buttons before you run out. Still, at this price, you just can't go wrong.
