I think if you're gonna get a tattoo, just get one: the words, 'I'm dumb.' That's it. That way in 10 years, when you go, 'Why did I get this?,' you can be like, 'Oh, I'm dumb!'

What's the use of those wi-fi locators? Do they show you if it's open Wi-Fi? What's the point knowing there is wi-fi, without being able to connect?

You didn't read far enough in the description "The best part, it has a built in flashlight...."

If you lose your wifi, these will help you find it. Of course you'll have to attach one to the wifi, preferably on the front. Typically the wifi will fight, but if you show it a picture of a monkey riding a small horse, everything will be ok. BTW these are useless.

Yes, but you will only be successful if the Wifi isn't wearing its invisibility cloak.

At .05c for two these would be a wsste of money. My 802.11g wireless network works perfectly throughout my house. One of these acknowledged it's existence within 3 feet of the router. The other one had no lights on at all. Assuming bad battery I replaced it. Nothing. Threw them both away and wrote it off to experience.

I bought these last time they were offered. The light never worked and it finally found my wireless router when it was held within 6 ft of the router. Now it just flickers one red light and/or doesn't work at all. I don't think it's worth the cost and hassle of getting a replacement unit. Save your $$$.
